- Biography:
- Alabama, African American civil rights activist. Hulett was a member of the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights. Key participant in the Civil Rights movement in Lowndes County, Alabama. He was a member of the Lowndes County Christian Movement for Human Rights and Cooperative and the Lowndes County Co-op. He worked for SNCC after their arrival in the county in the summer of 1965. He served as the first chair of the Lowndes County Freedom Organization in 1966 and was director of the Lowndes County Community Action Program.
