Description
Collection consists of 200,000 negatives of the Los Angeles daily news.
Civil rights related materials document protests against discrimination, the presence of national civil rights leaders in Los Angeles, and celebrations within the community.
The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
