- Description:
- An affidavit given and signed by Harry Briggs. In his statement Briggs says that he signed the 'Separate but Equal' petition in 1949. The petition was for black students to have the same rights, resources and facilities as the white students. Briggs goes on to say he lost his job in response to signing the petition. This affidavit was given many years after the event occurred.
