- Various scenes of memorial service held at S. C. State College (University) to commemorate the 1968 shooting of student protesters by South Carolina Highway Patrol officers. Medium shot portraits of Samuel Hammond, Henry Smith, and Delano Middleton, who were killed. Smith and Hammond were students at S. C. State; Middleton was still in high school. S.C. State President Dr. Maceo Nance being interviewed. Says it is important for both students and community to remember what happened, and to strive to prevent future occurrences.
