- Description:
- Night scenes of a group of University of South Carolina students collectively deciding on their next actions in protest of recent treatment. One of the leaders of the group dismisses earlier suggestions of "blowing up a building," and "taking over a building" as ineffective. States that in response to a building takeover by protesters, Governor McNair will send in the National Guard, campus will be sealed off, and the building occupants will "get busted in the head," "tear gassed," and many will end up in jail. As students debate four possible courses of actions, people in the crowd can be heard shouting "one brick will do the trick!" and "what about the brick?!" The options presented include: a sit-in at the current location, a walk downtown as a group, to "raise a little noise," and to "raise noise and block off the administration building." [Crowd cheers and claps at the final suggestion.]
