The site includes several slideshows documenting segregation, African American families, and segregated communities. It also contains interview excerpts and information about segregation laws from around the country.
Remembering Jim Crow is produced in cooperation with the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, and its Behind the Veil oral history project.
