Description
Web site companion to a radio documentary of the same name produced by American Radio Works. The site explores the events of the 1964 Mississippi Freedom Summer through interviews with Freedom Summer veterans. It contains transcripts of interviews with selected volunteers, audio files of the documentary, and a slide show of black-and-white photographs taken in 1964., The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
