Documents provided by Judge Russell B. Sugarmon, Memphis civil rights lawyer and activist. The collection contains campaign materials, letters, articles, and pamphlets about Sugarmon, his work with the Democratic party, and his work as a lawyer, civil rights worker, and politician., The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
