Topics covered include: American imperialism; business v. labor and the role of government; immigration; the League of Nations; Progressive reforms; the Civil Rights Movement; the election of 1896 - gold or silver?; the election of 1912; the Red Scare; the Treaty of Versailles; Wilson's 14 Points; and women's suffrage. The plans, written to meet Ohio Content Standards for High School students, include lesson objectives and instructional steps. A one-page worksheet is available to download.
