Description
Web site with information about the five legal cases that became the Brown v. Board of Education case before the United States Supreme Court. The case, decided on May 17, 1954, "made equal opportunity in education the law of the land." The site contains photographs of an exhibition at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. as well as historic photographs and a list of related resources., The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
