- The Boys Basketball Tournament was broadcast on radio and later television. Tom Carnegie (WFBM-TV) is pictured interviewing Ray Crowe in 1956. The tournament was also big news in local newspapers. Jim Cummings and Charles Preston (Indianapolis Recorder), Jimmie Angelopolous (Indianapolis Times), Wayne Fuson (Indianapolis News), and Jep Cadou Jr., and Bob Collins (Indianapolis Star) wrote on the Indianapolis teams.
