- Ruth Clinthorne started as a home economics teacher at Crispus Attucks High School in 1927 and became the head of the department. This is a transcript of an interview that was conducted as part of the Crispus Attucks High School Social History Project. The project also aimed to uncover some of the challenges faced by those involved with the first years of the school.
