Publication addresses some of the changes that have occurred in Washington because of 1957 legislation. Some of the changes addressed include increase in publications that inform citizens of their rights, increase attendance and scheduling of speaking engagements and establishment of advisory councils throughout the state. The report addresses the impacts that future economic cutbacks will have on minority workers and how minority workers have a more difficult time securing employment in economically stressed times.
