- Announces: a demonstration and rally for Veteran's Day at the Seattle Center to discusses issues such as Billy Dean Smith (a black soldier who was indicted for fragging officers in Vietnam), the Gainesville case (in which members of VVAW were indicted for conspiracy to riot at the Republican National Convention), and ending the Vietnam War. The VVAW plan to hold their rally alongside a similar one organized by VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and the American Legion. Quote from document: "The difference will be that the VVAW will speak out and tell the truth about what is happening to this nation of ours, and to the people of the world. VVAW is an organization of vets, by vets, and for vets, that says, 'Enough!', to what has been happening."
