- Description:
- Announces: “Eternal life, salvation, is not found in religion, clean living, or heroic service on the battle-field, but only in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is alive and seated at God’s right hand in that same body of flesh and bone in which He was crucified.” Quote from document: "Hello! Is it true, that if you are a good and faithful serviceman, and if you die for your country, that that will assure you an escape from hell and an eternity in heaven? Now if those who die in battle will go to heaven, what about those who go out and face the shot and shell and are willing to die, but are not killed? Would it not be reasonable to expect that they too would go to heaven as those who were killed? And suppose a soldier who is willing to give his life for Uncle Sam, but is not killed on the battlefield - suppose he curses and damns and drinks and has no use for God or Christ or the Bible, is He going to heaven anyhow? Background information: Bible Tracts, Inc. was founded by Paul Levin in 1938. They have produced “503 million tracts and sent them around the world.” ( Bible Tracts, Inc. http://www.ibnet.org/tracts.htm )
