- Announces: "Demonstration, 2 PM Sat., Feb 28. Carpool - HUB 12:30. Meet at American Lake. Show your support for GI's." Calls for: "We demand a stop to the Hijacking of the Bruce MacLeans and every other GI that is hijacked not so dramatically but thru the Fear of the Stockade method the Brass are using!!" Background information: "On Thursday, February 19, at 4 am eight armed guards took Bruce MacLean from the stockade at Fort Lewis where he was awaiting court martial proceedings and put him on a plane to Vietnam ... Why is the Brass coming down on Bruce? He was instrumental in founding American Serviceman's Union (ASU) at Ft. Lewis, organizing the ASU grape boycott demonstration, and in putting out a GI newspaper, FED-UP." (Taken from document.) Note on date: 1970 is penciled on document.
