- In this interview, Theresita Braxton describes growing up in the Historic Fulton neighborhood of Richmond, Va., in the 1920s and 1930s; going to school to get her teaching degree; attending and working at Virginia Union University; social activities and events in college; her memories of student staged protests and sit-ins during the 1960s; her experiences as a student at New York University; and her move from Historic Fulton due to the revitalization project.
