Civil Rights Collection; This issue of the Southern Student Organizing Committee Newsletter (Volume II, no. 4: May 1965) contains articles on civil rights movement projects, fundraising, and arrests as well as a student opinion piece on the Vietnam war. A large part of the newsletter was devoted to presenting details and contact information for summer projects of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and other organizations involved with the civil rights movement.
