Ferguson to Faye Stender answers questions posed by Ms. Stender concerning the election contest statute, which gives any individual the right to contest the election of a United States Representative. Ferguson sets forth the history of the election contest statute and give details of previous examples of its invocation. He also includes predictions on the outcome of the 1964 Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party's (MFDP) Congressional Challenge.
