Civil Rights Collection; The 120 African-American members of the Panola County Okra Cooperative initially produced and sold okra mainly in Memphis, Tennessee, markets, but future plans are to produce and sell other cash producing crops, such as tomatoes and strawberries, in the St. Louis, Missouri, and in the Chicago, Illinois, markets.
