- From the Miller (Michael J.) Civil Rights Collection. Reprint of a newspaper article from Vicksburg Citizens' Appeal about the Madison County Sewing Firm in Canton, Mississippi. Formed in 1965, the all-Black company provided employment to those who had lost their jobs for attempting to vote or help others to vote.
