- From the Ellin (Joseph and Nancy) Freedom Summer Collection; Report prepared by the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) that lists incidents of harassment, discrimination, and violence against African Americans and civil rights workers, December 1-9, 1964. Most of the incidents involved Mississippi residents who were arrested and harassed by law enforcement officials. One prominent section is dedicated to a discussion of the committee elections for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS).
