The crowd was in front of Holiday Shoes and Craig's Red Cross Shoes, either on the third or fourth day of protests. African Americans were surrounded by whites. Image similar to 2007.083.001.v. The name "Wilson" is written on the back referring to the photographer, likely Delmont Wilson of the Chattanooga News-Free Press.
