- Description:
- Black and white photograph officers making arrests during the Chattanooga sit-ins of February 1960. On the fourth day of protests, a white crowd gathered around as two white young men were being arrested on the left of the photograph. One boy was bent over, face down on a police car as two officers searched and handcuffed him. An arrow edited into the photograph points this out. Two additional officers stood with another boy in between them. The name "Mooney" is written on the back.
