- Black and white photograph of a crowd around a lunch counter during the Chattanooga sit-ins in February 1960. This was on the second day of the sit-ins, when word spread and many student protestors came out from both sides. African American Howard High School students sat at the counter of what appears to have been S.H. Kress at 706 Market Street. In the middle of them sat a white man, sipping on a soda. A few policemen stood behind the students in the background. Workers at the counter had their backs turned to those sitting. The name "Wilson" is written on the back referring to the photographer, likely Delmont Wilson of the Chattanooga News-Free Press.
