- This folder consists largely of correspondence between Southern Regional Council (SRC) members and their colleagues in February 18 to March 31, 1948. Much of the correspondences are to and from leading members of the South Carolina Division of the SRC, including Alice Norwood Spearman Wright, Adele Minahan, John P. Burgess, James McBride Dabbs, Edwin G. (Edwin Granville) Seibels, Rebecca Reid, and more. In these correspondences, they discuss the South Carolina Division of the SRC, district conferences, member recruitment and ways to begin improving race relations across the state. Also in this folder are Southern Regional Council meeting programs on social planning, the roles of the SRC, and more.
