- Folder 26 contains the administrative records of the South Carolina Council on Human Relations, Southern Regional Council and correspondence between members of leadership. There are several documents concerning the Supreme Court decision in the Brown v. Board of Education case including "Summary report of Nashville's first workshop on 'the Supreme Court decision and its meaning for our community,'" 1954. There are also letters about civil rights work and a new chapter of the NAACP in Orangeburg County like, the Letter to Alice N. Spearman from John Bolt Culbertson concerning NAACP branch in Orangeburg, December 22, 1954.
