- Description:
- Letter from Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr., of New York, New York, to the New York City Post Office listing problems with letters mailed from New York to individuals in South Carolina and Georgia. In filing the formal complaint, DeLaine states that African Americans involved in the Clarendon County school case have had their mail tampered with since the case began in 1949, but that individuals were afraid to report the problem in South Carolina.
