- Letter from Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr. of Summerton, South Carolina, to Flutie Boyd requesting that Boyd direct African Americans at the voter registration board. DeLaine concedes "the stand that I take may cost me my job as a school teacher." The letter also lists current officers of the Clarendon County, South Carolina, branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
