- Description:
- Letter from February 27, 1956 from Willie M. Dyches, formerly Sally Johnson, to Joseph A. DeLaine, Sr. Dyches recalls DeLaine's positive impact on her life while he was principal of Macedonia High School in Blackville, South Carolina, and pastor of Jericho African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church; she also requests a meeting with DeLaine. A note typed by DeLaine on the letter suggests that the letter should be referred to in the book.
