- Description:
- One page typewritten sermon that emphasizes the importance of African American voter registration, and political support for candidates that will eliminate economic and political servitude for African Americans. The sermon also guards against the delivery of promises, expresses the importance of Christians to identify as pilgrims by noting that the Hebrew definition of the word "pilgrim" means that one is a resident of an area without benefiting from the rights of citizenship, and the Greek definition of the word means to live amongst people who are not one's own. The sermon also asserts that Jesus Christ should be honored as a universal hero who has served the people of all nations.
