One page letter from Isaiah DeQuincey Newman to Dr. Clinton J. Lupo, Jr., dated March 14, 1983. In the letter, Newman explains to Lupo that he is organizing a new church congregation in the Meadowlake Estates neighborhood of Columbia, South Carolina, that the addition of the new church is pending approval from the Columbia District Committee on Church Extension and the Church Extension Committee of the Conference Board of Missions, and that Newman is developing the new congregation in accordance with principles established by those authorities. He explains that he is seeking sponsorship from four local churches, and will contact Lupo to discuss his request for sponsorship.
