- Eight page monthly report prepared by Isaiah DeQuincey Newman, field director of the South Carolina Conference of Branches, NAACP, dated February 3- March 8, 1966. The report begins with a summary of speaking engagements, news releases, newspaper interviews, meetings, travel, and correspondence;
this is followed by an annotated schedule itemizing work and meetings conducted on behalf of the organization throughout the time period of the report. The report ends with updates on school desegregation, implementation of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, implementation of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, voter registration, political education, and race discrimination in voting precinct reorganization.
