- Description:
- Letter from Ethel N. Ambrose to Augusta Baker, dicussing lack of funding for storytelling and the introduction of new technologies to the library. She discusses the health of Effie Lee and her WNBA award. She relates news of the Coretta Scott King breakfast and states, "Mrs. King came and publicly gave the award her blessing. She also talked candidly about her earlier reservations. She thinks the Black community, both within ALA and in the general society, needs to stop its internal squabbling and look to the highly volatile national situation".
