- Memo from Margie E. Herron, Director of Field Services of the South Carolina State Library, in which she includes information for registrants of the Children's Workshop being conducted at SCSL on April 30. Along with the memo, Herron includes a handwritten note to Baker, stating, "After receiving your draft agenda, I revised slightly the tentative agenda which I sent you initially" and relates that the memo is the revised copy.
