- Description:
- Officers in riot gear confront protesters outside the Russell House. A protest on the University of South Carolina campus was led by students angry that non-students have been barred from entering the Russell House student activity center. The Russell House was being used as a temporary site for the UFO Coffee House after another location was closed for inciting disturbances. South Carolina Highway Patrol officers were called to the campus to enforce the non-student policy.
