Pritchett led the arrest of demonstrators holding a kneel-in outside the Albany City Hall protesting segregation. The Albany Movement was a collaborative effort by such civil rights groups as the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to desegregate the city of Albany during 1961 and 1962. - Metadata URL:
