- Description:
- In this transcript of a May 28, 1981, oral history interview conducted by Eugene Pfaff with John F. Hatchett, Hatchett discusses the role Bennett College students and other individuals played in local civil rights activities. He explains the hierarchy of the local CORE chapter and the informal group that existed before its formation. Much of the interview focuses on the later displacement of several key figures of CORE and Hatchett's opinions of the leadership and advising within the chapter afterward.
