- Description:
- Article from the February 7, 1960, issue of the Greensboro Daily News. Originally appeared on page A-1. This article covers recent developments in the sit-in protests at Woolworth and Kress stores. A bomb threat was reported at the downtown Woolworth store, forcing both it and Kress to close down. A & T students involved in the sit-in protests met to discuss the possibility of taking a two week hiatus from the sit-ins in light of the recent bomb threat. There were some arrests outside both stores after demonstrations began outside the downtown stores.
