- Description:
- This February 25, 1969, memorandum from John W. Kennedy to University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Chancellor James Sharbrough Ferguson states that Kennedy estimates that sixty-eight black graduate students were enrolled at UNCG in spring 1969 based on undergraduate institution and street address. Kennedy notes that this measurement is "unsatisfactory" but is the "only acceptable alternative."
