- Description:
- These photocopies of three pages from the May 26, 1979 Workers Viewpoint newspaper, a publication of the Communist Workers Party (CWP), pertain to the November 3, 1979, Greensboro Massacre. Articles discuss the recent dismissal of gun charges against seven CWP supporters in Greensboro who arrived armed at a November 11, 1979 funeral march for CWP members killed on November 3. There is also an editorial accusing the FBI of a cover-up related to the shootings, suggesting a conspiracy between the FBI and the Ku Klux Klan. In addition, there is a historical discussion of fascism as related to current events including the Greensboro Massacre.
