- Description:
- This document, marked "confidential" contains a proposal for wage and working condition changes to be presented to striking food service employees at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Included are pay increases (part of a university-wide minimum wage), a five-day work week, overtime pay, and a requirement that all terminations be justified. The proposal requires the approval of 75 percent of striking workers, to be expressed by their return to work on Monday, March 31, 1969. A handwritten note at the bottom states that the statement is to be presented by food service contractor ARA Slater at a negotiating meeting on March 30, 1969.
