- These are photocopies of five pages from the December 10, 1979 Workers Viewpoint newspaper, a publication of the Communist Workers Party (CWP). One article discusses the history of the Ku Klux Klan and related populist and anti-Communist movements in light of the November 3, 1979 Death to the Klan march in Greensboro that resulted in the death of five CWP members. Several other articles, reprinted from other sources including Jet magazine and the Amsterdam News, discuss various aspects of the events of November 3rd, known as the Greensboro Massacre. There are also editorials and articles reporting on the event from the viewpoint of the CWP, in addition to responses in Detroit, New York, and San Francisco.
