- Description:
- In this letter, dated April 30, 1969, University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) student Nancy Kay HIghfill expressed to Chancellor James Sharbrough Ferguson her concern about the quality of food service provided by contractor ARA Slater. Highfill suggests that a different pricing structure might force ARA Slater to employ higher standards and asks that the chancellor look into any changes that could be made. Highfill's letter follows the UNCG food service workers' strike of March 27 - April 2, 1969.
