- This letter, dated March 28, 1969, from Harry B. Fesperman of Thomasville, North Carolina to University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Chancellor James Sharbrough Ferguson, expresses Fesperman's feelings on aspects related the the UNCG food service workers' strike. Fesperman's daughter Jeanne was a student at UNCG and complained about the fact that the Student Government Association was providing food as part of a cafeteria boycott, and also that student fees were being used to support striking workers. Fesperman agreed and asked that the chancellor look into the matter. The strike took place March 27 - April 2, 1969 at UNCG.
