- This is a photocopy of a July 15, 1980, article in The New York Times by Wendell Rawls, Jr., reporting that members of the American Nazi Party had accused Bernard Butkovich, of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, of infiltrating the group and encouraging them to turn "revolutionary" prior to the Death to the Klan march in Greensboro, North Carolina, at which five Communist Workers Party members were murdered. Party leader Harold A. Covington stated that the agent joined the group and quickly began suggesting activities and arousing suspicion. Butcovich did not comment for publication.
