- This letter, dated November 16, 1967, is a response to a letter from J.B. Tollison of Asheboro, dated November 3, 1967. In his letter, Mr. Tollison complained about the use of state university facilities to host the Black Power Forum held at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro November 1-3, 1967. In his response, Governor Moore thanks Tollison for expressing his views and says that he will forward the letter to Chancellor James Sharbrough Ferguson at UNCG, and to William Friday, president of the state university system.
