- This fragment of an advertisement from the Woolworth Corporation commemorates the thirtieth anniversary of the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins and features a photograph of the four students who launched the sit-ins, Joseph McNeil, David Richmond, Franklin McCain, and Jibreel Khazan (formerly Ezell Blair, Jr.), and a caption of support from the company in whose stores the sit-ins began. This article was saved in a scrapbook by Clarence "Curly" Harris, manager of the Greensboro Woolworth store at the time of the 1960 sit-ins. The advertisement has been cut to fit on a scrapbook page, and its source is not evident.
