- This February 22, 1963 article published in the Guilford College student newspaper, The Guilfordian, highlights the many international students who took part in the program at the February 11 convocation. Long-time professor Dr. Floyd (Pete) Moore hosted the program and introduced the students who hailed from Syria, Cuba, Kenya, Korea, England, Belgium, Denmark, and Chile. The students shared aspects of their cultures with the wider Guilford community through music, dance, and traditional dress.
