- This January 31, 1969 article published in the Guilford College student newspaper, The Guilfordian, reveals the results of a survey conducted by Guilford students for Dr. Cyrus R. Johnson's Race and Ethnic class. The survey sampled freshman and seniors, males and females, regarding issues having to do with race on Guilford's campus. Overall, freshmen were found to be more liberal in their attitudes towards African-Americans, while female students were found to be more liberal in general.
